Today Tesla announced a less-pricey and somewhat lower performance all-wheel-drive Model S variant called the 70D. Starting at $75,000, the 329-horsepower vehicle has a 70-kwh battery instead of 85 kwh, and goes 0-60 in 5.2 seconds, not 3.2 seconds, but could be just the ticket for snow belters.
