Mitsubishi announced in late June that the long-anticipated Outlander Plug-In Hybrid utility vehicle would arrive to the American market in spring 2016, as a 2017 model year. The model was originally slated for US introduction in 2013.
When it arrives, the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid will be a unique offering—a mid-sized plug-in SUV with all-wheel drive capability and high ground clearance.
