1. Available Before the End of 2016Alan Batey, General Motors North America President, said the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV will begin shipping to dealers in the fourth quarter. It had been previously reported that the Bolt would ship in October. Bolt has been in “pre-production” since about March.
2. Base $37,500 Comes Standard with Many FeatueresThe Bolt is expected to offered at a starting price of $37,500, and will eligible for a $7,500 tax credit to yield a net price tag of $30,000 (before local incentives). There will be some options available with the Bolt, but many of the connectivity and active safety features will come standard with the base trim.
